Hello, my name is Jay NaPier. I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. I live in Nashville, Tennessee. Some of my passions are: Music, Travel, Golf, Family and Nascar.
Being an entrepreneur is a bug. I caught the bug at 11 when my father bought his first pizza franchise. At 17, I was an open route newspaper carrier. I’ve owned my own advertising agency at 20 and my own restaurant franchise at 25.
Imagine for a moment, you get up a 5:30AM. You fight the traffic to work. You walk to the time clock and find that your boss is there with his hand out. He wants $250 to pay for the new postage meter that you just happen to use sending out bills to his clients.
That’s what it was like owning a franchise. You see, buying a franchise is like buying yourself a job, where the boss follows you home and tells you where to spend your money.
At 30, I started a soy candle business. It taught me a lot about margins and profit. As a franchise owner, I earned 25% profit and in my soy candle business I earned 50% profit, but it was a guy selling watches at a flea market who opened my eyes to the ultimate question.
“How much money do I make when I make a sale?” Up to this point, I’d built businesses based upon the product. The product is important, but it’s HOW MUCH YOU GET TO KEEP that really matters in business.
Traveling with your family is only one benefit to true financial freedom. The security of knowing that you have the finances that allow you to Do What You Want, When you want and have the attitude to enjoy it…..That is what makes you Rich!
What you do with your wealth is totally upto you. You might be driven to buy cars and home or you may have a favorite charity that you’d like fund.
Knowing your outcome will assist you in getting to the CORE of WHY you started your business and what will drive you to take consistent action in your business, even when things get challenging.
Your life is your business or Is your Life your Life? Some entrepreneurs are owned by their business, others have the freedom to do what they want, when they want.
I built a very successful travel business from my spare bed room (aka my office). I started on this journey because I desired more in life, I took risks that paid off in a big way and WON!
