BBS = A + M + AOMA + TM + SM

This formula may be off the wall to you, but it’s all about having Big Business Success (BBS)

To have Big Business Success you must start with ACTION. Now, I know alot of people who Want to improve their situation, but they seem to have issue with things that get in the way (some call that Drama) or they have Time Management (TM) issues - Some might find TV show’s like Survivor more important than building their own lifestyle (Ever notice how some people are more into the fiction of TV than living their own lives)

Now A is for Action in this formula (Did you even notice the hint above). You’ve got to take ACTION to get results. You can’t just sit there and hope things happen or wait for things to happen. No, you’ve got to be PROACTIVE and learn the skills that will allow you to succeed in business. A great example would be the water pitcher I just bought for my Dad. I read the instructions (Amazing how few do that) to make sure we got the Quality Water we were expecting out of it. Had I not done that - we might have run it through the dish washer and broke the whole thing.

IF IT’S TO BE, IT’S UPTO ….. Yes, ME (Ok You, but you’re reading this.)

Now we all know that the M is for Marketing. Marketing in 2009 has developed into alot of things and you’ve got a TON of decisions on what direction you want to go with your marketing. Let me just keep it simple. Put YOUR Message in Front of Peoples Eyes. (Newspaper, Magazine, signs, etc…)

AOMA is All Out Massive Action. That’s what you should be doing instead of sitting in front of the Electronic Income Reducer. You can still watch the game, but watch it with a computer in your lap (Like I do) and be sure you don’t spill you beer on your keyboard. MASSIVE Action is where you get results. The more places you market and Advertise - The better.

I’m not going to tell you to treat your business like a business. Treat it like you’re SERIOUS about getting a result. Time Management is how you do that. You don’t have to be perfect, but if you’re mapping out your day, you should know when you’ll be working ON your business (Notice I didn’t say IN your business - that’s when your dry cleaner is cleaning clothes). Working ON your business is the process of getting the message out there. It’s the time you invest to make your that you increase the number of people who are buying from you. TIME MANAGEMENT will allow you to see how much time each day you’re putting into your business.

We all know that Social Media (SM) has become a HUGE topic (it was known as web 2.0). What are you doing to connect with your customers and potential clients? If you’ve got a GREAT tip - Share it. There’s alot that goes into why people BUY from YOU.. (Did you know there’s actually a psychology to why Walmart is set up the way it is?). I’m not going to make this into some Social Media workshop, but if you’re not doing Facebook & Twitter and you don’t have MEGA Goals for the number of people you want to connect with - you might as well call your insurance agent and see if you can get a Life Insurance Policy for your business.

After reading this simple equation, you have quickly realized that you’re missing the boat on some very important aspects of your business and NOW is a great time to expand your knowledge so you can be the one writing the article next time….
