Traditional businesses are slow to make changes of any nature.  After years of spending a fortune

on airfare, hotels, and food, businesses today are now doing Web meetings.
Web meetings are popular because you no longer have have to get to the airport two hours before your flight,
you don’t have to pay the airfare, there are no delays, and you control the timing of your meetings.
Web meetings make it easy for you to put together a meeting because your clients no longer have to change
their schedule in order to attend.  many Web meetings happen before the traditional 9-to-5 hours or afterwords.  Web meetings make it simple because you can plug in your WebCam and show people your desktop to get your point across in your meeting.
Web meetings have all the benefits of a traditional meeting: body language, voice tone, and facial expressions but you’re using a WebCam instead of being in front of someone.  This allows the presenter to be more productive as well because you no longer have to spend a day or two traveling and you can do multiple meetings in one day at different parts of the world.
Web meeting technology can be expensive for some companies, When you consider that many companies have tens of thousands of people to attend a meeting.  Many of the top companies who offer web meeting software spend several thousand dollars to use their software.
Smaller companies have avoided using Web meeting technology because of the expense.  As Web meeting technology has gotten more popular, there are now more companies offering Web meetings making the market more competitive for the small
business owner.
today’s Web meeting technology can cost anywhere from a few hundred dollars per month to free, depending on how many people you’d like to attend the webinar.  As mom-and-pop companies become more aware of the technologies offer through webinars they are now able to plug into this technology for just a small monthly fee and use the technology to make more sales, lowering their cost of doing business.
Before you jump on the next plane to meet with your next prospect, don’t over qualify a person to make sure it’s worth the expense, simply invest in a Web meeting technology and scheduling Web meeting presentations.  After the presentation you can simply find out whether your prospect and your company or a good match without the added expense of a trip to see them.
